S E R E N G E T I

EVERY YEAR, MORE THAN A MILLION WILDERBEAST AND HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ZEBRAS AND GAZELLES MOVE THROUGH THE SERENGETI-MARA ECOSYSTEM OF TANZANIA AND KENYA FOLLOWING THE RAINS. IT'S THE LAST GREAT MIGRATION ON EARTH. THE TANZANIAN GOVERNMENT IS PREPARING TO BUILD A MAJOR ROAD THROUGH THE NORTHERN PART OF THE PARK (WHICH IS A DESIGNATED WILDERNESS AREA) AND THRUGH THE MIGRATION ROUTE. DOING THIS WOULD LIKELY END THE MIGRATION, CAUSE THE COLLAPSE OF THE WILDERBEAST POPULATION AND DESTROY THE SERENGETI AS WE KNOW IT. POACHERS WOULD ALSO HAVE EASIER ACCESS TO OTHER ANIMALS. AN ALTERNATIVE WOULD BE A ROAD TO THE SOUTH OF THE PARK THAT WOULD CONNECT FIVE TIMES MORE PEOPLE, COST LESS TO BUILD AND WOULD NOT AFFECT THE MIGRATION. CHECK OUT THE LINKS BELOW, WE NEED TO CONVINCE THE TANZANIAN GOVERNMENT TO GO WITH OPTION B IF ANY AT ALL...
